About
Bio/Description
Alex is a graduate student in the Chemical and Biological Engineering Department and is originally from North Carolina. He earned a B.S. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from North Carolina State University and a M.S. in Agricultural and Biological Engineering from Purdue University. As an undergraduate, his research focused on the use of slippery liquid-infused porous surfaces for use in reconfigurable circuits. His master's work looked at the efficacy of drainage channel modification for fertilizer abatement in agriculture-dominated watersheds of the Midwest.
