Andrea studied marine biology in Italy and Sweden and received his PhD from King’s College London. Andrea’s postdoctoral research reflects his passion for marine organisms as he investigates the regulation of gene expression during development and explores the relationship between mRNA and protein expression levels in ascidian embryos. Andrea loves traveling and sports, being an avid skier and scuba diver.
